Solar LD is a one-stop solar energy solution company providing design, permitting, structural review, construction, and maintenance services for photovoltaic power plants. Based on extensive experience in solar installations on livestock farms, factories, warehouses, and commercial buildings, Solar LD is now expanding its business into smart farming and glass greenhouse solar systems. In particular, Solar LD is operating its own pilot complex for agrivoltaic glass greenhouse systems with the goal of realizing “practical farming under solar panels.” Through this project, the company is collecting both power generation data and crop growth data simultaneously. In addition, Solar LD provides customized solar designs and structural reinforcement optimized for glass greenhouse structures, considering both structural stability and power generation efficiency. The company is developing a new agrivoltaic model where renewable energy and real agricultural activities can successfully coexist.
